I love John Hart and have loved all of his novels. This one was no different. This is such a good book. Its about a family that was torn apart by war after one son dies, another returns to a jail sentence. The story comes from the perspective of the younger son and his new try at a relationship with his brother who is out of prison. While this is happening, and murders occurs in the town that is so dark and twisted, the locals don't know how this could have happened in their homes. The first person they look to is the ex prisoner who has a history of violence. Gibby, the narrator and youngest brother takes it upon himself to prove that his brother did not commit these crimes, and along the way puts himself in the path of danger.
