The writing in this novel is so engaging, kept me reading page after page. The storyline is engrossing (there are some scenes that are hard to read). At it's heart, this is nove of family and the extent they will go to to help each other.
I don't often compare novels but if you've read Cemetery Road (5 Stars) by Greg Iles, I'm confident you'll love this book. Similarly, if you loved this book, definitely check out Cemetery Road. To me, it's the writing, the storyline and the atmosphere in both novels that puts you in the pages with the characters.
The ending was intense and kept me on the edge of my seat to the very last word.
