I don’t know why but this book has me emotional beyond the context of the writing. It may be due to the fact that me grandpa, father, and husband have all served in the military. This book has a familiarity I can’t explain and reminds me of stories I’ve watched in the cinematic world that have touched me. I would love to read this book.
