I'm just going to be blunt, this is not my style of book at all. But this seems like a very good story. If I was into this genre, I would be SUPER excited for it. The writing in the sample is top notch. I am immediately drawn into this family drama. I already kinda hate the mother and feel bad for the father and kids for having to deal with her. I do have to say, I am not a huge fan of going back and forth between first person and third person POVs, but so far, it is done very well in this one. Again, if I enjoyed this genre, I'd be all over this book. I think it is going to be something special.
