I’m intrigued by this start. The first narrator took be aback after reading the synopsis, and I’m curious about whether or not there will be multiple perspectives, which I enjoy in for mysteries or suspense pieces.
There seems to be a counter-cultural edge, but I think reading about a character post war/incarceration is actually quite relevant right now. You can already see family bonds trying to reach past brokenness. I hope this doesn’t try to touch on too much at the risk of being muddled, but I would definitely want to finish this one.
