I have been a huge fan of Hart’s writing since I read his debut novel, The King of Lies. This latest novel is set in North Carolina, and opens with the return of Jason French- fresh from prison, following three stints in the Vietnam War following the death of his drafted twin brother. The writing is engaging and the characters immediately come to life! I thoroughly enjoyed this start! I can’t wait to read the rest!
