Harsh reality of some of the struggles of Vietnam for Vets.

Immediately the conflict is obvious here with the story covering the death of the oldest son and the imprisonment of his twin. But the complete truth of their dealings is unclear and even after a couple chapters the author pulls you in with why the issues that separate this family are so sharp and hard. The delicate mother, who deals inappropriately with the incarceration of one son and the death of the other by overprotecting the youngest son brings an interesting aspect to the plot and seems to me that it will play an important roll to the entire story.
