Excellent pull! Interesting characters with lots of drama.

Jason's arrival is certainly intriguing. He 's not trying to hide the fact he's released from prison but walks boldly through town announcing it. Everyone will know. Especially, her. The fact he remembers it's senior skip day establishes his roots in town. Seeking out a chance to steal time with his little brother declares him family. Gibby doesn't know if he's happy or sad to see his sibling. If only he didn't have to tell, her. Mom is fighting her own war, clearly having favored the fallen son. Why? Was Jason demanding, even in the womb? Final question, why does Gibby allow the strick rules she's placed on him? Does he fear he could easily lose her...again?

These are a few of my first thoughts and impressions. I would love the opportunity to fully engage in all the intrigue I know will follow these characters.
