This is a combination of a crime novel mixed with elements of family drama and struggle. It's the 70s(?) and the Vietnam war has just ended. One of our main characters, Jason, is a war veteran and ex-prison inmate. He has just returned home. We know there is some dark secret in Jason's past that involves his brother, but we don't know what the secret is yet.
