My initial impression of this book is that it is dark and that the plot is a bit heavy. Even the cover has a cloudy, oppressive vibe. These aren’t necessarily bad things, particularly when you’re talking about crime fiction, but it isn’t my preferred genre. I don’t know that this is one I would continue to read
