I love how Tubman story is told in this book. Not much is know about the woman to begin with but the author does a good job of telling a story that you could believe that her live went this way or that way. For a woman to feel so strong about not owning another human and wanting to change things for the better and putting herself in danger or harms way. But also describing what could be the soft side of her. I think she would have enjoyed how things turn out in this book and others that have used her as a main character. I enjoyed the story line very much. I guess when you are using a real person as a character in a book some things will seem odd but some things will seem real. whatever the outcome is.
