When learning about the Civil War in school, one heard the basics...and mostly involving the men...not the women...and realizing that it's been one sided for way too long. For the first time reading about Harriet Tubman and her role in the Civil War...and wanting to read more. Reading about strong and brave women is energizing for us all.
