While this is not my usual subject matter, I decided to give it a try. Historical fiction is becoming more interesting as authors are expanding on ideas and events that we are familiar with and making them a part of our own story through exposition. I feel the power and force of Tubman's impact on the abolition of slavery is well underrated and this story might be the one to shed light on her efforts.
