Harriet Tubman is an important historical figure that you always learn about in school, but don't necessary know many personal details about, so my initial response to this book is interest in learning more. However, I'm not always a fan of historical fiction that heavily uses real historical figures, rather than just the time period, so I'm not sure how I feel about this one overall.
