Harriet Tubman is one of those historical figures that I've heard of, but don't know much about. I've wanted to learn more ever since I lived in MI and saw a play about her and a monument to honor her in Battle Creek.
I love historical fiction, but only if it is well researched and I know that it is accurate. Throw in battles and danger, and it is even more likely to pull me right in. This book looks to be one that will end up being on my must-read list and one that I share with friends.
