Suzanne is an artist who needs a change of scenery, so she books a cabin in Colorado to enjoy the Christmas holiday. While there, she meets grumpy scrouge Grady who owns the ranch where the cabin is located and doesn't seem to want to deal with the holidays. After some rough patches and special moments, the two together, navigate the Christmas holiday and the traditions that go with it creating something new and much more special.
I loved how well the chemistry and banter between Suzanne and Grady are written as well as their characters themselves. They seem like real people with complex personalities; it feels like a real story versus just a romantic seasonal book. I also love the setting of this book and how amazingly perfect it feels for Christmas!
I would highly recommend this book for its real and touching love story, the perfect Christmas setting, and all of the silly and tacky traditional Christmas things worked in!
