When I saw that this book was about a grumpy rancher (that is also a veteran) and with a Christmas setting, it sounded like something that was right up my alley. And it did not disappoint! I love reading stories about a hero that needs a nudge from a spunky heroine to help him see the world as a less grumpy place. Suzanne is the right woman for the job. Grady has his reasons for his sour Christmas mood and it was a delight to see him thaw under the onslaught of holiday festivities that Suzanne inflicted upon him.

The writing style was very likable and easy to read. I was able to get interested in the story from the beginning and had to re-read pages before I could move on because I liked them so much. I especially liked the banter between Grady and Suzanne. Funny stuff. There was a lot of sexual tension that gave the right amount of steam to add to the sweetness of the story. I enjoyed it very much and look forward to reading more books from Amy Andrews.
