The Trouble With Christmas was my first read by this author. This isn't my normal go-to in terms of book genres, but I was pleasantly surprised with this book.
The characters were easy to like and easy to follow. The romance was adorable, and it was so easy to cheer for them. The writing itself was great and kept me interested.
The book is set in small-town Colorado, and you will the budding romance between Grady and Suzanne. In the beginning, there is tension, and they honestly act like teenagers..squabbling and such.
Suzanne sets this romance into motion with a little fib to her parents.. she simply tells them she isn't leaving the ranch as planned as "she's fallen in love with Grady." This is untrue at the time of the lie but later becomes reality!
