I won this book from BookishFirst, and while I usually wait to read Christmas romances until at least October 1st, I dove right into this one. It’s a Christmas romance, and that’s really all you need to know. It won’t be everyone’s cup of tea, but like I said in my first look review, if you’re a Hallmark movie watcher who’d like a little heat to keep you warm when the weather gets chilly, this is your book! The story was steamy, the writing was solid, and the Christmas spirit is strong. If you like getting your tinsel in a tangle over realistic characters amid snowy scenery you see in all of those “rustic” pictures at home stores, this novel has all the Christmas cheer you need. If you don’t feel the need to thaw out your cold, dead heart, that’s fine, but Christmas romance lovers rejoice: this one’s for us!
