Okay so I will admit I am not a real fan of the romance genre so I am a little biased but in the first paragraph alone there were 5 things that turned me off to the main love interest.
1. His name is Joshua - that's my brother's name. That's not the author's fault of course so moving on...
2. Cowboy type - ew not for me
3. 36 years old - I'm only 25 so again turned off
4. Football and cursing - not really my type of dude once again
5. Ex-pat - never been into military guys either.
