The premise is interesting - a woman who lies to avoid visiting her parents for Christmas and unwittingly draws her landlord into it.
Suzanne seemed a bit annoying, though I did like she was more on the curvy side and not the average "skinny" girl. The writer went to great lengths, over overly so, to describe her.
Grady was the usual reluctant boyfriend type found in this usual type of romance.
The first look overly emphasized things such as pronunciations and sounds that were also annoying. Also the profanity right off was a bit off-putting. Not that I don't mind it, but romance novels can avoid the "f" word and still be riveting.
