Suzanne is in Colorado trying to revive her artistic creativity, which does not bode well for Grady, who just wants peace and quiet. Suzanne is not peace and quiet, a veritable whirlwind of energy and verbal diarrhea, she quickly makes her presence known to Grady. And she's driving him crazy - and me too. While the author tells the story from both characters perspectives, she starts with Grady's and from that point forward I can't like Suzanne, even if I know why she can't shut up. It also drives me crazy that the author feels the need to point out that she's curvy. Curvy. Curvy. And not beautiful. Or even cute. As if to make sure that the reader knows that her female lead is not the beautiful supermodel size 0 assumed of all female characters in any romance book ever, instead of letting the reader come to the conclusion that she's normal all on their own.
