Turns out I have a type when it comes to romance books and that type is anything but characters who really want to get it on upon laying their eyes on each other, which is exactly what happens here.

Joshua is your typical romantic lead who's sullen, quiet, and hates the girl on site despite only having eyes for her ass. Suzanne is also your typical romantic lead in that she's quirky and artistic and "totally average looking." To be fair, while the descriptions are... blunt (listing dress sizes to get a feel for whether the character is fat or skinny feels weird to me), Suzanne doesn't seem like one of those characters who says shes fat but really she's average.

The premise looks fun enough, but I can't stand the characters.
