What do you get when you mix a loner rancher with a chatty New York artist who wants to spend some time back in nature. You get a ton of fun. Our rancher is living the solitary life after losing his family and girlfriend 12 years ago and serving time in Iraq and Afghanistan. He needs the quiet that comes with living on acres of land in Colorado...that is, until his solitude is invaded by a sassy young gal from New York who is renting his cottage for a respite and a chance to paint. There is enough chemistry between these two to blow up a few sticks of dynamite and even covered in dirt, dust, and cow poo, he almost combusts from being around this girl that isn't anything like he expected or wanted. I am sure this story is going to be charming, witty, and great fun as these two navigate a relationship that at the surface has no potential but that really is going to ignite once they both drop their reservations about each other. I can't wait to read the whole book.
