Joshua Grady is a loner. He rents out the cottage on his ranch for cash not company. When New Yorker Suzanne St. Michelle moves in for the holidays, Josh gets more than he bargained for. Her parents have decided to visit at Christmas and Suzanne decides that Joshy would make the best fake boyfriend since she is suddenly alone and her family decides they need to spend holiday time with the two of them. To complete the picture Suzanne decorates the cottage and all that surrounds it with the trimmings of the season.
