Ever since reading Cemetery Boys I have been in need of another ghost YA book, so I'm so glad I found this. The authors writing is so so descriptive and captivating. It felt like I was witnessing everything going on. I am not a POC so I can't really talk about Jakes struggles with being one of the only people of color in his school. However, his character is so unique and I feel like so many young adults could see themselves in him. Just his life and his perspective was so fresh because it's so rare to find likable main characters in fiction. The premise of this book is so cool and i'm curious to see where the author takes it. I tend to stay away from thriller books but the description intrigued me. I am very glad I gave it a chance because when this book comes out I will be getting it. I am super excited to see what other things Ryan Douglass will come up with for future novels.
