The taking of Jake Livingston by Ryan Douglas is going to be a fun and good book. The first sentence gets you hooked right away "I'd hate to be that kid who died in gym class" like what?!?! Jake Livingston wakes up to something really strange. His hands are surrounded by a bright light. There is mist in his room, and he's getting pulled into the floor like you would be with quicksand! His house is in all sorts of weirdness. Not something that he would expect. The family photos fade into different pictures of different people. Everything in his house are replaced with things that he doesn't even own as well. He wakes up and thinks all of this ruckus was a dream, but was it really a dream or was it something similar to the story of Freddy Kreuger? I don't know, but i would love to find out and i think that you would like to find out as well! If you like YA novels and mystery novels then you should read this one!
