Like YA edition of American Horror Story

This was a much more suspenseful and thrilling story than I had expected. Creepy haunting ghouls and a school shooter that is now potentially a murderous ghost remind me of American Horror Story, except YA edition! I thought it would be less thriller and more adventure style, but I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of suspense and gore in the book. The cover art is really nice, and since I saw that illustration, I visualized the story in that cartoony style while I was reading. The story and writing are so descriptive that I can imagine everything like an animated film. It's a really exciting read so far and I would love to see what happens next! I think I wouldn't put this book down until I finished the entire thing.
