It has its claws in me....

When I first started reading, I thought that although it seemed interesting, it wasn’t something that I’d want to continue reading. Was I wrong!!! The first impression had me all in my feelings. Sympathy for Jake, for having to see the things that he sees. Fear for the kids when they thought there was a school shooter. And again when Benji and Jake came home to find the blood in the house. Sadness for Sawyer because he knew he needed help and his mother was too worried about what other people thought. I need to finish this book!!
