This was an intriguing concept, especially as far as genre goes: paranormal Black queer YA. Not my typical genre for sure, but I still enjoyed reading the First Look. It’ll be interesting to see where Jake (and Sawyer) go from here, and to see why Jake’s neighbor was murdered.
