Wow, this book sounds both suspenseful and informational all at once. I was intrigued immediately when I read that Jake is a medium who is forced to watch people's final moments on a replay wheel but I became even more invested when I read about Jake's experience at a racist high school. As a teacher myself, I am constantly challenging students about confronting our biases and challenging stereotypes both of ourselves and ones we have learned about each other. It sounds like this book could help me learn and connect with students in a new way than ever before! Cannot wait to read this!
