I definitely love this cover! The artwork and composition is definitely eye catching and intriguing.
This book checked a lot of boxes for me in terms of subject matter. I like reading about Black kids, queer kids, and the private school experience, as well as all kids of fantasy/sci-fi experiences.
I think that the premise of a kid with special abilities living among us is interesting, but I am not so sure about the execution. I think things were under-explained or under-described in order to follow the story. It felt predictable and confusing at the same time and I feel like I want to know more but at the same time I'm confused by what I read.
