I read the cover and I thought, "this must be one of those autobiographies" and I just swiped past it. Okay, why I assumed that was because the cover was like a cringe little kids book and I could only assume that the author thought... well, anyway. BOY, WAS I WRONG.

The synopsis is chaotic, let me just start off with that. I couldn't really keep track of what was happening and I can't even tell you what the story is about if I tried to remember now. So honestly, if I was a reader in a book store looking through books, I probably would have thought this was a cool book, but I wouldn't have picked it up because I just couldn't be bothered to find out what the book is about.

And this is just the synopsis. I am a person who judges a book by their cover. But isn't that almost everyone? In short, the cover just didn't impress me. However, the First Look, that's something else.

"Part I: Six Days Prior to
Swallowing a Fairly Important
Molar"

WHAT KIND OF SUB-TITLE IS THIS???

This was what intrigued me if I had looked past the cover.

The story is really random. I feel like the author has a main plot, but any smaller details, Hill just grabbed them out of the air at random times thinking, "Oh, this idea will make the book feel unique." It is unique but I don't see a theme and cohesiveness is pretty important to feel a flow throughout the book.

There are also some concepts that are not really culturally-friendly. I'm not American and it's obvious that this book was targeted for Americans. There were just some cultural concepts that I had never heard of, and obviously they were American concepts.

And this is just chapter one.

I wouldn't be bothered reading the rest of the book if I didn't know half the things the author was trying to communicate.

I just can't be bothered.

Of course, that's just me and my opinion.
