I had high hopes for this novel - which only added to my excitement at winning a copy of this book. That said, however, I never received a copy of the book so my review is more closely tied to the first few chapters provided by bookish.
This one is a far cry from my usual reads. While fiction, the themes and general storyline are not something that I would normally be pulled in by. That said, the first few chapters to immediately provide a unique voice which I can only imagined is carried forward throughout the remaining pages.
Hero and villain stories are normally redeemed at some point, and I can only imagine that much the same occurs in the later pages of this one. Hill's story here is unique, but it looks to be one with a place in this world. I look forward to one day finding this one on a bookstore shelf so that I can finally finish the remaining pages.
