I am a big fan of Tanya Rad and I listen to her podcast weekly. That was how I originally heard about the book and I was ecstatic to see it on Bookish First as a raffle.

This book is broken into very short daily devotions. They would be about 5 minutes tops to read but there are challenges and journaling ideas for anyone that wants to go deeper to apply these. Yes, they are based and connected to a Bible verse, but it the themes of them all are about loving yourself and loving others. Each day is written by either Tanya or Raquelle and though they work in the Hollywood/entertainment business, they find a way to be relatable and connect with a variety of different people in this.

The stories from Raquelle were new, but a lot of what Tanya talks about has been mentioned in her Podcast. I still enjoyed those connections and the way she thought things through even though I knew some of what she was talking about already. It is a simple devotion that I would recommend for anyone looking to have a more positive outlook on life.
