I don't usually go for self-help books are devotional type books. I always feel like it's a chore to check off everyday. This book changed my opinion. As someone who struggled with finding everyday joy and fulfillment in this modern world, I had high hopes with this book. I enjoyed the little stories that coincided with the daily bible verse with a prayer and how to apply the verse to your everyday life. Some of the stories the authors told was relatable and each day had something new to give. My favorite part of each devotional was probably the bible verses. I would recommend this book to any young people who struggle with keeping a relationship with God in this modern world and who just need a word of encouragement to keep going.
