Definintely sunny
3.5*.
Thank you Bookish First for an ARC of this book.
The happy in this book starts with the vibrant cover. For a book with sunshine in the title, it is certainly appropriate to have the color be such a vivid shade of yellow. I enjoyed the book, though it isn't meant to be read in a chunk all at once as I did in order to write a review. The book is meant to be used for daily positivity and personal energy references to get yourself going and to keep yourself positive even (and especially when) positive might not be the first thing you are feeling.
There are many positive examples and quotes from authors/speakers such as Maya Angelou, for example. Also Bible verses are noted for reference. There are exercises to do such as one to note what makes you happy. There are actionable tips such as if you want to work on independence, go to a movie alone.
Something for everyone.
Recommend.
