Too Much Toxic Positivity...

While I'm not Christian, I have read and enjoyed Christian books before, but this won't be one of them. I found the references to God to be too much, as I think any good self-help book should be applicable to anyone. Similarly, the whole idea that "God has a plan" was forced and promotes toxic positivity. The reality is bad things happen sometimes. Not because God has a plan, not because someone deserves it, but they just happen. Finally, I found some of what the authors shared to be quite judgmental. Overall, not the right book for me, and I don't think I would recommend this to my friends who are Christian either.
