The writing is fine, I just can't see myself relating to big city professionals, and one of whom's main complaint here is breaking up with a boyfriend. Especially when I imagine it ends with her finding someone else. The religious aspect really isn't for me. I can see where the tips and techniques might be helpful to someone in certain situations.
