More autobiographical than self-help

The First Look was primarily introductions and acknowledgments. I wasn’t exposed to enough meat of the book to truly form an opinion. My sense is that this book comes from a place of good intentions. Yet, it comes across as self-promotion or an autobiography guised as self-help rather than true self-help. The two daily devotions I read primarily focus on the authors’ stories with advice to do this and that, but no substance around how to actually achieve the advice, other than to trust in God’s plan. Because the beautiful cover and book intros are misleading, I give it 2 out of 5 stars.
