I was excited for this book after finally getting my hands on The Cemetery Boys. I hadn’t expected to love it as much as I did.
For starters, I’d never read a book about the mythology of this one. It is so incredible to be introduced to and a wonderful change. It was great to learn about something that I had never really thought of before. As someone in the Field of Education, I can only imagine how seem some people feel with this book in their hands.
Along those lines, I love that this book features LGBTQA characters without making that the focal point of it all. It is a trait about the character, bot their only trait and what drives the plot.
There were so many beautiful complexities to the characters and their relationships to one another that made them feel fully developed even though we’re not done yet.
After reading this, I am dying to see what’s in store next.
