I absolutely loved this book. Not only was the Trans representation very tastefully done, but the book made you want to keep reading. It was a concept that felt familiar as a fan of the hunger games but the mythical twist was so cool. I loved all rhe characters, even the ones you were suppsoed to hate. They were just so well written.
This is the first book I've read by Aiden Thomas but they have instantly earned a spot on my favorites list with this book. Multiple of their other books are on my TBR list now and I can't wait to get the chance to read them. Their voice in their writing was just so light and airy, even when it was the harder more gut-punching scenes.
I can not wait for the sequel of this book to come out. The ending was such an incredible cliffhanger in the fact that it was both satisfying and left you wanting to reach for the next one right away.
