Spoiler alert ⚠️📢 I need book 2!!! I am very invested in these characters and their relationships. I am shipping AurelTeo so hard! It is a beautiful friends to enemies to frenimies to friends. I hope it develops even more in book 2! (Seriously last chance look away to avoid spoilers ) I want a love so strong they'll start a freaking apocalypse to keep me from feeling bad. These characters are so vibrant and fun. I did see most of the twists and turns coming, but that did not dampen how much I enjoyed the ride in the least. There was a detail to the last turn that suprized me and looking back it shouldn't have. I however am happy it did. My wife read the author's other books and loved them. She now trusts Aiden Thomas and they are an auto-buy for her. She told me this one was supposed to be kinda like Percy Jackson meets Hunger Games and she was right. I do wish there was a reference page to go with the prologue showing the creation and family links along with the semidioses we meet throughout the story. That was probably my biggest issue. The begining also felt both slow and rushed until they got to the trials, but over all I really enjoyed the book and need book 2 now!
