When I first began the book, I was excited by the beautiful artwork. I also liked how the story was laid out like a fairy tale, and that the premise of the book was being described. I liked the style and the prose. And, then - wham, a curse word where it wasn't needed. That, and the fact that this is fantasy - it isn't for me.
