Sounds interesting, but fantasy is not my genre

I think this book does sounds interesting. It has the "Hunger Games" vibes, which I like, and the writing is clear enough that it is easy to follow (some fantasy book is so confusing to me, hence I do not read many books from this genre). I do think fans from this genre would appreciate this book more than I would.
