THE SUNBEARER TRIALS is one of my most highly-anticipated 2022 releases. I adored CEMETERY BOYS and was so excited to hear that Aiden was writing another fantasy! Well, this first look does not disappoint. The story begins with how everything came to be - I've always been a mythology fan and was immediately entranced by Sol and Tierra. That feeling did not disappear as I read through the first and second chapters. The world, the characters, the birds, were all fascinating. I already love Teo as a character and am interested to learn more about him, his relationship with Hero, and just how the sunbearer trials will go.
