Aidan Thomas is a great writer, so I went into this first look with pretty high expectations. And they were more than met--this seems like a lush world with deep world-building and mythology, great characters, excellent queer rep, and a fun, zeitgeisty teen competition at the center. Can't wait to read the full thing.
