I love how easily I fell into the world the author created. I couldn’t stop reading and I need to know how it continues!
I was on the edge of my seat holding my breath during the fire scene, and I need to find out more about the tension between the characters.
I appreciate the different customs in the book (at least to me, a non-Mexican heritage white girl), and I love hearing more about other cultures and how different people see things.
I like the cover artwork and it’s a definite look I would be drawn to in a bookstore.
I can’t wait to keep reading this book, I’m itching to find out more backstory on the main character and also how the story will end!
