I've always loved mythology, so I love books that bring it into modern times. I also love the author's use of birds throughout the book. The dialogue is a bit stilted and the introduction seemed a bit rushed as the main character ran into a bunch of people and did several things within the first 30 or so pages of the book. But I'd definitely keep reading to see where this goes!
