Teo, a semidiós, is somehow both kind and respectful to those around him while also being a little bit of a prankster. A Jade thanks to his goddess mother, Teo has some powers but not as much as the revered Gold heroes usually chosen to compete in the Sunbearer Trials. Teo is quick to help others which makes him easy to root for. I love his connection to all the birds; it’s a lovely unique touch. I can’t wait to see the Trials unfold!
